I've been traveling pretty hard since I left home last Thursday afternoon. I rode a little over 1800 miles the first 36 hours I was gone. Made it to Utah and met with some friends also from North Carolina in a couple who lives there who graciously hosted us for the evening.
All Sunday morning we left Utah in route to Southern California, the Ladera Ranch area to stay with some other friends.
On Monday we started our trip up the Pacific Coast Highway. We met up it with other RoadGlider riders at the rock store on the Mulholland Highway just north of LA.
Monday was a long day. We had a little difficulty earlier in the morning, but that's a story for another time. We dealt with lots of fog and ash from a large forest fire along the highway. We wound up rolling into Monterey After Dark somewhere around 10 PM.
Tuesday was a great day we rode up the ghost highway from Monterey to Fort Bragg. This included an awesome stop at the Golden gate Bridge we stop on both sides and took lots of photos.
On Wednesday we left Fort Bragg in route to Yreka California. This route took us to the redwood national park in over several mountain passes with high temperatures throughout the day.
Today we were Road for Mark Yreka to be in Oregon we visited crater Lake national Park and it was an awesome day once again hot temperatures.
Tomorrow we're heading toward Hells Canyon and enterprise Oregon. I will try to update more frequently and add some photos to this post..
